Life is Good! Especially when you can wake up each and every morning and truly love what you do. How fortunate I feel to have found this outlet for creativity along with the loving friends I have met along the way.

I was born and raised in Washington State and currently live in University Place, WA.

I am a professional award winning quilter, who began quilting in 1999. I have been sewing all of my life. Quilting is a whole new experience… and possibly a little addicting!

My Gammill Longarm Quilting Machine came to my studio in 2002, and thus the story begins. As experience is a very important part of my business, I strive to learn as much as I can and I have taken classes all over the country to broaden my talents in quilting and piecing. This gives me the latest techniques to grow my business with knowledge and professionalism. Some of the classes include: Longarm University, Boersma Sewing, Innovations, classes in Vermont, Montana, and Arizona. I have recently founded a Guild Chapter in University Place, Quilters by the Bay.

I am also a board member with, Hospice Without Borders, and have traveled to Rwanda in October of 2014 and 2016 to teach quilting and basic sewing skills. “Life After Loss” is a collaborative program which brings grief and bereavement support alongside learning a marketable skill to families who have lost a loved one under the care of a Rwandese Palliative Care Team.
