Preparing Your Quilt for
Quilting
Quilt backs must be at least
4" larger than the quilt top on all four
sides.
Clip threads from the back of
the quilt top and threads that pop up
between seams on the front.
To keep excess fullness from
your borders:
Measure your quilt top from
top to bottom in the middle of the quilt to
determine side border length. Measure your
quilt top from side to side in the middle of
the quilt to determine top and bottom border
lengths.
Bindings
To have your binding machine
stitched to your quilt top is $2.00 a
running foot.
To have your binding machine
stitched to your quilt top and hand stitched
to the back is $3.00 a running foot.
